Default Clean & Jerk feedback..?

Hi there Glenn, I got your DVD 3 weeks ago, and have been working on my technique since then..

Could you give me some feedback on this Clean & jerk? This was a PR of 92,5 kg.

Also, I've posted the video from right before I watched your DVD, along with some side by side pictures from both lifts; http://fredarn.com/blogg/2011/03/08/...-pendlays-dvd/ (see the lower part of the post)

Any feedback would be very much appreciated!

Hey bud, nicely done on the new pr for you! From what I could see on your form you did alright. You do need to pull it higher on your legs. It needs to be on the upper half of your thighs. This will put it in the right place on your neck without having you go forward. The jerk needs to be back on your heels as well. In your dip your depth was good but you need to work on the change of direction and remaining upright. Good split though. Keep up the good work!

Two things to improve, one is that on the clean you are jumping forward, maybe because you are starting the second pull too low. Second is that you are going to the toes on the dip and drive. Stay back on the heels! Fix those two things and I think you will see a major improvement.

Thank you both! I will work on starting the second pull higher upp - on the upper half of my thighs, and keeping my weight more on the heels i the jerk
