View Full Version : Hang Clean By a Super Newb. Help!

I'm new to weightlifting. Right now I'm doing SS and after SS I will probably do some oly program.

I have my own ideas on what is wrong but I don't know how to coach myself out of them and I don't want to say what it is so your comments are not influenced.

I look forward to your criticism and coaching clues on how to to fix.

BTW in 5'11" and 160. This is 100lbs.

Not so bad. Last lift on second video is the best. Stand straight up with weight on heels before you go down into the hang position each rep, stay on the heels when you are in teh hang postition. Try to stay on yourheels as long as possible in the pull, and land on the heels without jumping forward. experiment with the finish of the pull till you are not jumping forward anymore.
